New scientific publication on coarse grinding of feed materials

Publicatiedatum: 29-06-2018

A new article is published in collaboration with the Animal Science group of Wageningen University and Research (WUR). In this article a comparison based on energy consumption and particle size reduction is made. Between, three different grinding methods (hammer mill, roller mill and a multicracker device). Three feed ingredients (maize, soybeans and wheat) are evaluated.

This publication is a continuation of the article by M. Thomas et al., 2012 Grinding performance of wheat, maize and soybeans in a multicracker system. It improves the understanding of grinding performance of different materials under different conditions. As well as, showing a method to compare different processes accurately with each other.
